4709’s newly fabricated vacuum reservoirs
4709’s recent move into the workshop at Tyseley has already made it possible to complete a number of significant jobs;
All the horn blocks have been mounted on the frames, holes reamed and the specialised bolts needed to permanently attach them ordered from a local CNC machine shop.
We have also now fitted the bolts into the cylinder joint bolt holes and tightened. There are just two left to fit under the blastpipe which will only be accessible when the cylinder block and extention frames are turned upright.
To complete the current rolling chassis part of the 4709 project, we need to raise approximately £30,000.
